Willy update........

 

The Willy Wagtails yesterday.......hoping to fly the nest today or tomorrow............tomorrow and Friday extremely hot...........They survived the other day but the next couple will be a little hotter again........temps 42-43????....

more birds.....gulahs..........

hundreds of birds eating some spilt grain..........

all is good until you disturb them and the all take off..........here is the first few leaving .........it is amazing to see and they make quite a noise when they all take off together..............

they all swirl around in the sky.........

until some settle in a tree close by...........such a pretty pink.............

this is the ugly lot..........top know pigeons and apostle birds..........

snapped this "Red Winged Parrot" last week in preparations for this post...........

I got up to a few metres away............they usually take off pretty quick.........they love the berry type things left from the crepe myrtle flowers...........sometimes I get rosella in eating them too....
