Moon

Lots of photos here but I thought you might like to see Semaphore early in the morning.

It takes me about 10 minutes in the car to get to Semaphore it is a lovely beach and it is where I go to the butchers and green grocers and do my shopping.

This is where you will find me at dawn on Anzac Day.

at this time of year there are rides on the foreshore.

The sun was well up before the moon set this morning.

You even get to see my shadow.

I liked this one ....no moon but the angel on the war memorial shines out.

sorry no moon just liked this one.

and these just put a smile on my face.
Boot Camp
I don't understand why on a hot morning you would go to the beach with a women who yells at you............................. and run up and down the sand.
The beach was beautiful this morning just perfect for walking and enjoying not running and sweating.
Don't you just love the one on the end trying to keep her pants up.

then to top it off you have to do push ups and get sand on your hands urrrrrrrrrrr

I think these 2 lads had just given up and died.

now they had to sit in the sand and do sit ups
it just isn't natural

I hope you enjoyed a visit to Semaphore to see the moon and the sun come up.

I was watching Oprah's Australia visit last night and forgot to turn on the hoses so I ran out to put the timers on and look what I found

the moon was rising...........a stunning full moon.........

it was down a bit further in the clouds when I first saw it............

and when I got up this morning at "sparrows fart" look what I found..............

the moon was setting straight out the front window............

so I grabbed my camera and raced out again with my new tripod I  got for Christmas...........

I was having fun playing on my manual camera settings changing the F stop and the other number dial...........whatever it's called..........

all taken at the same time but look at the difference.........

going going............

gone.........

So he first challenge for the year is the moon...............

Eastern Parkland Adelaide

Last week Gemma had her wisdom teeth out which is a story on it's own, while I was waiting for her I went camera walking.

colour - mini berry kebabs.............

Not lots of colours in this but strong colours that I would never put together........I love this photo..........I got to a good fruit shop last week and this is usually the only time we get blueberries and raspberries.......add some strawberries and mulberries from our backyard tree and Bookworm made some mini berry kebabs.........

Starting With J!

These pictures of the 'Jetty' are taken at our local beach...'Jubilee Beach'. This particular beach is on the Main street in Swansea Tassie, and where most of the tourists and locals go in summer for a swim...except me because I'm always worried that Jaws might be in the water!... lol! My boys also spend alot of time fishing off the end of the jetty and have caught many a fish!

Not a lot of orange in my garden at the moment, only the pansies. I took some pics of the little mushrooms and fungus yesterday on our bushwalk when we went camping.

Not many interesting clocks in our house, but this is one is quite special as the kids bought it for me one Christmas...it hangs in my country kitchen/dining. I just love it!
