Gates

The first two are out of the archives from a trip to visit a certain someone........

But the rest are from a recent weekend visiting friends at there weekender farm. Much more interesting than the gates at home!

I have a new you beaut phone with internet access and on this trip I found myself with time to wander about snappy away. I almost rang the chookster to find out the current challenges and then I had an a-ha moment and I logged onto snappy friends. It has been a long time since I have had a chance to wander freely taking pics. I covered a few challenges on this trip.

Farm Gates.........

Since it is farm day I went with farm gates for my gates post............I have been thinking about this for weeks and I was in a beautiful big town and saw lots of gorgeous house gates then thought oh well most of you live in towns and would see them so I went with some big gates................
I love all the different patterns the cross bracing makes..........
Lets start with the perfect farm gate here..........swings well..........easy to open and close..........this one is a new gateway.......
pretty old gate way here..........unlatch the gate and you probably have to carry or drag it open..............
this one has seen better days and thankfully we never open it............this one you have to balance to keep it standing up or it may fall over on you............
this is the gate to the area where I let the chooks out to run..............we had to add the other gate to the top to make it a little higher when some of the chooks started flying over......
and here is a little chook gate to let them out for a pick.........
what do the gates look like at your place???

Paper!

I have been thinking for a while now about this paper challenge, and remembered this morning the paper clip necklaces we made in primary school, so had a trip to Mums to see if she had them.

Of course Mum still has them! Also found a paper covered tin I made Dad for fathers day back when I was a Brownie! The old magazine underneath is an Australian Home journal dated July 1st, 1953

The paperclips are wrapped with colourful contact paper

Just couldn't resist a few quickly made newspaper roses and taking a pic with them amongst the Allysum!

I really enjoyed this challenge and my little trip down memory lane!!lol!
