Last week Gemma had her wisdom teeth out which is a story on it's own, while I was waiting for her I went camera walking.

colour - mini berry kebabs.............

Not lots of colours in this but strong colours that I would never put together........I love this photo..........I got to a good fruit shop last week and this is usually the only time we get blueberries and raspberries.......add some strawberries and mulberries from our backyard tree and Bookworm made some mini berry kebabs.........

Starting With J!

These pictures of the 'Jetty' are taken at our local beach...'Jubilee Beach'. This particular beach is on the Main street in Swansea Tassie, and where most of the tourists and locals go in summer for a swim...except me because I'm always worried that Jaws might be in the water!... lol! My boys also spend alot of time fishing off the end of the jetty and have caught many a fish!

Not a lot of orange in my garden at the moment, only the pansies. I took some pics of the little mushrooms and fungus yesterday on our bushwalk when we went camping.

Not many interesting clocks in our house, but this is one is quite special as the kids bought it for me one Christmas...it hangs in my country kitchen/dining. I just love it!

I have totally failed this last month..........missed trucks altogether and Fairy Girl saw challenge pop up this morning and asked what it was and I said clocks and she went and snapped all the ones she could find in the house...............cute isn't she so this post is brought to you by Fairy Girl...............

love this one Fairy Girls bedroom clock - could you have guessed..........it ticks to loud for me to sleep with it.......

I LOVE this one.........made by some handy old bloke on the coast I got it quite a few years ago..........even has a chook in the chook house and the dog is tied up under the tank..........

Trucks (and Super Trucks)

Warning, this is a VERY picture heavy post!

TRUCKS.....

I wasn't even going to try this challenge, but then I realised we would be spending the weekend at QR. That is Queensland Raceway for those of you uninitiated.

There are always heaps of trucks, transporters, new trucks, old trucks,' working' trucks, those that are just for show. what gets me is there always seems to be some blokes standing around looking at them. let's face it, they are just TRUCKS!

This next one made me chuckle.... a truck with a 'back deck' complete with lounge. Funny thing was, look closely, there is a guy reclining on the lounge. I didn't see him until I was looking through the camera view finder!

ok, now we move onto part 2 - SUPER TRUCKS! What makes a super truck, beats me. But they race them. Or they did this weekend.

Let me tell you watching trucks race is b.o.r.i.n.g. Just my opinion of course. And the smell! Tyre rubber, fuel, who knows what else. Not carbon neutral I can tell you.

But yet again, line 'em up and you get blokes standing around! I have cropped them out as much as possible.

Well done, if you have made it this far. Below is one 'in action', in situ shall we say, zooming 'round the track. See all that black stuff coming out the back...... not environmentally friendly at all. I'm just sayin'.......
